Enterprise Modernization with SAP
The SAP solution has been in use for a long time at EH. Previously EHP had been using SAP ECC 6.0 since 2008. “So far we are satisfied with SAP, but the system must also be rejuvenated to resolve dynamic business challenges. The most appropriate choice for us is to upgrade the ERP to the newest version of SAP, namely SAP S/4HANA".
Mr. Ishak Surjana as CIO of Eagle High Plantations Tbk and his team are moving quickly to modernize the company's operational systems to increase productivity and facilitate real-time decision making.
EHP then invited a number of SAP consultants to offer their services for the Upgrade and Refresh. After a thorough evaluation, EHP management decided to partner with Wilmar Consultancy Services. This project is named "EHP to HANA", a reflection of EHP's performance that is agile, tough, and courageous. The project implementation took about eight months, from July 2018 to March 2019. "Before implementing the system throughout the company, we conducted a pilot project in one of the departments" said Ishak.
Modules such as Finance, Controlling, Materials Management, Project System / Estate Management, Sales & Distribution and Fiori Mobility were implemented in earlier phases, followed by SAP solution for consolidation (Business Planning and Consolidation) subsequently.
